DJ MONEYGUD
On-Air Talent
Larry “DJ MONEYGUD” Brown originally had a love for the game of football before he was interested in music. He aspired to play in the NFL and dedicated much of his formative years to the game. He was a standout player and team captain at Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL.
Largely influenced by an older cousin, DJ MoneyGud began rapping as a hobby in his free time. He balanced football, academics and his new found love of music throughout high school. He received sports scholarships to many schools but chose an academic scholarship to Florida A&M University where his moniker, DJ MoneyGud was coined.
Since 2012, Moneygud has been rocking parties in and out of the state of Florida. He has headlined shows for major hip hop artists including Future, August Alsina, Lil Boosie, Plies, Meek Mill, Kodak Black and many more. DJ MoneyGud has been recognized by his peers in the DJ industry with numerous awards including the Diamond Award for the 2016 Breakthrough DJ of the Year and the 2015 Next to Blow DJ of the Year.
