Kansas coach Bill Self will remain sidelined when his team takes on Arkansas in the NCAA tournament Saturday. Self, who had a heart procedure March 12, was ruled out for Saturday's game, Kansas announced.

Assistant coach Norm Roberts will continue to fill in for Self as he continues to recover from the procedure. Self travelled with the team and is considered day-to-day.

Self, 60, is just days removed from having a heart catheterization. He also had two stents put in. Self missed the Big 12 tournament and was unable to coach the team during its NCAA tournament opening round win over Howard.

Kansas is the No. 1 seed in the Western region. The team will take on Arkansas at 5:15 p.m. ET on Saturday.
