Gospel star Kirk Franklin became a trending topic over the weekend after he released his church-inspired #Omarionchallenge.
The challenge, which started when a 2015 clip of Omarion dancing at Verizon's "Now Playing" music tour resurfaced on TikTok, became the latest trend online, with many fans posting their own takes of the choreography.
While Omarion later poked fun at his own inspired challenge, sharing an updated version of the dance on his Instagram, the singer took time to acknowledge only one epic #omarionchallenge performance.
"@kirkfranklin," Omarion wrote on Instagram, adding the fire emoji to a re-post of Franklin's #omarionchallenge video. "Love yah man! #omarionchallenge perfect Sunday moves!!!"
Fans were quick to agree, with some sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
"That’s it. It’s over. Kirk Franklin won the Omarion Challenge," tweeted one fan.
"How Kirk Franklin pulled up and destroyed everyone in the Omarion Challenge," joked another.
Yet another fan shared their appreciation for Franklin's moves. "Kirk Franklin did the #Omarionchallenge and I need SOMEBODY to pick me up off the floor!," she wrote.
