About Shot Out:

Shot Out was born into the music scene with his stepfather, being recruited by James Brown, and then in 1978 by the Jackson 5. At birth he was named Toriono after the Jackson 5 group member Tito. Shot Out was blessed to travel the world with the Jackson family during the most impressionable years of his life, seeing the rehearsals and performances firsthand. This experience sparked the desire and love to be a performer in young Shot Out. He got a taste of being a local celebrity after gaining attention from the producers of a local weekly dance show, at which he danced and entertained in. Shot out then embarked on his life dream of being in the entertainment industry by starting a position at the local club “Cool Runnings” by the age of 16. This opportunity would lead to him becoming a promoter, performer, and entrepreneur at an early age. Toriono would land opportunities to perform and invest in upcoming events with acts such as Too Short, Notorious B.I.G., Craig Mack, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Wu Tang, T.I., Boosie, Ludacris, Ja Rule and Buju Banton to name a few. From the proceeds he was able to establish his production company, Shot Out Entertainment. He went on to sell over 150,000 units independently over the course of 5 studio albums and compilations in California and Canada. Shot Out also charted Billboards with his hit single “Beep, Beep, Beep”, which featured Rasheeda, a Georgia native and star of “Atlanta Housewives”. His early mentorships and hands on education makes him a reliable source and a wealth of knowledge for any up-and-coming inspiring Artist. It is his goal and purpose to inspire, educate, and eradicate the “Crab Pot mindset” in his hometown.
